What is the different between scoreboard and leaderboard?

do I need to add the scoreboard option if I already have the Leaderboard option?:confused:

The leaderboard show the mostplayed games and players with the most points.
The scoreboard show the last Records/Winning Highscores

In your opinion ,what is the specific word should I use to describe leaderboard and scoreboard?
I want to make a drop down menu for that..
